Peggy Gourgues

Chief Operating Officer

Peggy Gourgues is Chief Operating Officer of Reliant Rehabilitation. Peggy holds an M.A. in Speech Pathology, a Certificate of Clinical Competency in Speech-Language Pathology and has practiced in home health, private practice, skilled nursing and acute care hospital settings.

She is a certified member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, a member of the Healthcare Compliance Association and a 2014 Board Member of the National Association for the Support of Long-Term Care. Peggy has worked in healthcare management for the past 15 years and joined Reliant in 2004.

Austin Lanham

Chief Legal and Administrative Officer

Austin Lanham joined the Reliant Rehabilitation team in 2014 where he serves as General Counsel. His duties include advising the executive team on strategic initiatives, drafting complex customer and supplier agreements, supporting compliance and employee related investigations, as well as managing all litigation matters. Prior to joining Reliant, he worked as a civil litigator in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex.

A graduate of Texas A&M University, Austin completed his legal education at Florida Coastal School of Law. He currently is licensed as an attorney in the State of Texas and is a member of the Texas Bar Association and the American Health Lawyers Association.

Stephanie Parks

Chief Development Officer

Stephanie Parks joined the Reliant Rehabilitation team as Vice President of Operations in 2007 and currently serves as the Chief Development Officer. She has more than 18 years of successful experience in the healthcare industry providing clinical, fiscal and strategic operations leadership.

Stephanie is a member of the American Speech and Hearing Association and the National Association of Professional Women, the latter of which named her a 2014 Executive Woman of the Year. Stephanie earned her M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology and is a 2013 graduate of the Southern Methodist University – Cox School of Business MBA program.

Reliant has built a very solid therapy platform and proprietary systems to help ensure our therapists provide consistent, outcomes-driven results for the patients we serve. While it has been my privilege to be part of that creation process, it brings me even more satisfaction to invite and welcome more partner facilities into the Reliant family.”

Amy Phipps

Chief Clinical and Compliance Officer

Amy Phipps joined the Reliant team in 2011 as Director of Compliance and currently serves as CCCO. She brings 24 years of healthcare experience. She holds an M.A. in Speech Language Pathology and is a certified member of the American Speech Language-Hearing Association. Amy also holds a Competency in Healthcare Compliance and Healthcare Privacy Compliance and is a member of the HealthCare Compliance Association.

David Tate

Chief Strategy Officer

David joined Reliant in 2017 and brings 29 years of healthcare leadership. Prior to Reliant, he served as a division vice president with RehabCare, where he held positions in operations, clinical services, client relations and strategic development. In addition to post-acute care, he has extensive background in outpatient therapy services, including clinical, operations and regulatory, including rehab agency development and certification in multiple states.

He has experience with acquisitions, care management, business development and healthcare analytics. He has PT and DPT degrees and is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association where he has served as a state chapter treasurer and national delegate, and he is a licensed health care facility administrator.

Reliant has great therapists, and they are the heart and soul of our company. I always enjoy the success stories, which are just a small window into the life-changing outcomes that our patients and therapists strive for each day. Providing tools and strategies for successfully navigating change gives me some satisfaction that I am contributing to things that matter most."
